Take your personal practice to the next level! Reasons to participate in a yoga teacher training.

Is teacher training right for you (even if you don’t want to teach?)

Are you intrigued with the idea of teacher training? Have you seen the flyer at the studio or online, talked with others who have participated in a training, or seen the changes it made in a friend or love one? Yet, you keep talking yourself out of it. You make excuses as to why it won’t work right now. You tell yourself teacher training is only for flexible students, those that can do impressive postures like handstand, or only for those that want to teach yoga.

What if those thoughts are simply holding you back from stepping into something extraordinary, even if teaching yoga is not on the horizon for you?

Think about what happens when you come together with like-minded people and share a yoga class experience. There’s a little magic in there, right? Now, take that and multiply it by a thousand and you’re starting to get in the ballpark of what it is like to gather with a group of other high intentioned friends and share 200 hours of study, practice, and transformation. Need more? Here are some reasons why teacher training is right for you:

Deepen your practice – enhance your understanding of poses from the inside out and experience them in new and interesting ways. learn yoga anatomy, alignment and key actions, modifications and hands on adjustments.

Focus on you – teacher training is an investment in you; your self-care, your health, and your growth. The outside world of responsibilities will remain the same, but you just might find them easier to manage after some dedicated time for yourself. You will see things with new eyes and more clearly.

Love your body, feel great – there's nothing like practicing asana every day to give a boost to your health and wellness. Balance your physical and energetic body and feel more vibrant than ever. You, your friends and family will notice. we promise!

Develop your understanding of yoga practices beyond physical poses – there is only so much we can do in a class. this is an opportunity to explore and embody the subtleties of the practice such as pranayama, meditation, chakras, ayurveda and energy anatomy.

Explore yoga philosophy – what is the history of yoga? where does it come from? why is it still applicable today? learn the vibrational language of sanskrit, understand the history of yoga, and the science at the heart of these powerful practices.

Create lasting and meaningful relationships – walking the path of yoga is more meaningful when others walk the path with you. The bonds that are created during teacher training last a lifetime. Immerse yourself in your yoga community and deepen your connection with Exhale, our teachers, and fellow students.

Accelerate transformation in your life – have you ever left a yoga class feeling like the best you? Setting down old ways of being and living in alignment with your most centered, conscious self is what transformation is all about, and it is at the core of Exhale yoga. In teacher training there is an individual and collective experience of transformation taking shape. Learning happens at faster rate and the best in all of you is reflected back more consistently, inspiring you to live bigger and brighter! To shine your beautiful bright light everywhere you go!

Learn to teach – whether you ever teach a yoga class post training or not there is value in practice teaching. You will gain confidence from the opportunity to teach others and it ripples out into all areas of your life. Learn to guide a group of people through an experience and lead them to a common goal, develop the art of public speaking and learn to use language with greater clarity, efficiency and potency, build confidence, stay grounded in yourself no matter what the outer circumstances, hone the skill of trusting your intuition, and speak from your heart.

Receive personal attention – something specific you want to understand? Is there a pose or yoga concept you want to look at in more detail? This is the place to ask questions. This is not a one size fits all practice. Learn how to adapt the practice to meet your needs, develop a personal mediation and home asana practice, and receive individualized feedback on how to teach in way that is most authentic to you!

You love yoga! Dive deeper into something that brings you peace and happiness. Expand your knowledge of what you are passionate about and share that passion with others!

Words simply cannot express the magnitude of the experience and its power to change your life. Often, upon completion of a teacher training, students reflect on their experience and realize that they would like to share the beauty of this practice to others. Even if you choose not to teach the outcome is extremely positive; your confidence will soar, the practice will take root, and the inspiration from training will fuel any number of transformations in your life – all good returns on your investment. Yoga teacher training is a substantial commitment of your energy, time, and finances; and it’s not an easy decision. Please feel free to call Renee (706)818-1725, if you would like to discuss the possibilities. We would love for you to join our teacher training beginning January 29th 2022.

We are all just walking each other home. Ram Doss
